LSAC Shooting Ladder
Below are the rules for the shooting ladder:
- There are 2 ladders Recurve and Compound (Longbow/Barebow may be added if there are more archers).
- The round to be shot is a full Portsmouth round.
- When a challenge is won the victor moves into the place of the defeated and everyone below that place moves down the ladder by one position.
- Archers may challenge anyone up to 3 places further up the ladder or 3 places from the bottom if not on the ladder.
- When a challenge is issued the match shall take place at a mutually agreeable time.
- An archer who refuses a challenge shall be deemed to have lost the match.
- You cannot challenge the same person more than once a week.
- Results are to be given to the Rec's and Pub's as soon as possible after the match.
- The ladders are of infinite length, ie once on the ladder you can never return to the pool.
