Loughborough Students' Archery Club - Ladder

LSAC Shooting Ladder

Below are the rules for the shooting ladder:

• There are 2 ladders Recurve/Longbow and Compound.
• The round to be shot will be decided by the challenged archer (yes, if Jungle challenges you, you can challenge him to a flying pig shoot).
• When a challenge is won the victor moves into the place of the defeated and everyone below that place moves down the ladder by one position.
• Archers may challenge anyone up to 3 places further up the ladder or 3 places from the bottom if not on the ladder.
• When a challenge is issued the match shall take place at a mutually agreeable time.
• An archer who refuses a challenge shall be deemed to have lost the match.
• You cannot challenge the same person more than once a week.
• Results are to be given to the STUBBS as soon as possible after the match.
• The ladders are of infinite length, ie once on the ladder you can never return to the pool.
