Post-Event Activities

For those competitors not shooting, there are a number of activities that can be done around Loughborough. There are a selection of shops and bars at the Students' Union (2 minute walk from the SDW). There are 15 bars on campus of which 8 are in the Students' Union building.

Off campus, the Town Centre is only about 1 mile away, and a regular bus service goes from the Students' Union into town. There are a range of shops, as well as a market on a Saturday. There is also a cinema in the centre of town.

Just on the outskirts of Loughborough, near the train station (Wymesworld) there is a karting centre. Nottingham, Leicester and Derby are all around 20 minutes drive from campus and have a bigger shopping district, as well as activities such as Ice skating, Bowling and Quasar.

There will be a post event party held at the Loughborough Students' Union straight after the awards ceremony.

For anyone interested in Science, on the day is the Loughborough University Festival of Science at the Loughborough town hall, located in the town centre. Anyone is welcome to attend if they wish and entry is free, for more information, the flyer can be downloaded Here.

Tickets for the raffle will be available throughout the day. Prizes will be presented by our Lady Paramount during the results presentation. The prizes are as follows:
